Three Current Series Goddess Series: There are six pieces in this series of brooches. Each goddess figure represents a certain aspect of Mother Earth and life upon her breast. They appear here in the order they were created.
Fish Series: There are six pieces in this series of brooches. Although what they represent are not all fish in the strictest sense, they do all represent figures from the aquatic realm. They appear here in the order they were created.
Although the goddess pieces do not have defined faces, faces are very important to me as images, as expressions, as living art and thus I felt compelled to begin this series. Since I did not make these particular face beads/buttons, I have the privilege of incorporating the artwork of others in my own pieces. My thanks to the unknown artists who created these faces. They appear here in the order the assemblages were created by me.
