Wisterial Dryad
For years costuming was one of my passions and I loved the challenge of using what was available nearby. On this particular occasion wisteria vines came easily to hand. And whereas I feel more connected to ents, dryads are cool as well, and a little easier to costume. |

Poem:
The Calling
Stepping out my front door for school yesterday morning my ankles were encircled by an ecstatic herd of yellow and red leaves celebrating the culmination of their lives, that amount of emancipation between feeding the tree and feeding the ground. They danced in beauty and called me to join them but they were gone before I could reply.
It is okay.
We shall lie down together one day and decompose in the most joyful embrace.
